Job summary

A leading company in the Oil & Gas sector is looking for an experienced SCM Senior Chartering Specialist to manage chartering activities and support project teams throughout the lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supply chain management and vessel chartering, particularly in the APAC/Middle East regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Supply Chain Management in Oil & Gas or 5 years in Chartering roles.
• Familiar with subcontracting and Bimco charter parties.
• Experience with vessel chartering in APAC/Middle East regions.

Description of Function
The main function of the SCM Senior Chartering Specialist is to assist the SCM Chartering Manager in finding and administrating chartered vessels. The Specialist will handle all chartering requirements for the duration of projects and provide ad hoc tender support as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure involvement in chartering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from Request for Quotation to project closeout.
• Develop and implement chartering strategies in coordination with the SCM Chartering Manager and Project Lead.
• Operate within approved procedures, utilizing SCM tools and adhering to Subsea 7's Business Code of Ethics.
• Coordinate daily with the SCM Chartering Manager to address criticalities and identify synergies across projects.
• Address specific contractual or client requirements related to SCM.
• Prepare Project Special Terms for chartering in collaboration with the project team.

Experience Required

• Minimum 10 years in Supply Chain Management in Oil & Gas or 5 years in Chartering roles within the sector.
• Degree in Engineering or Naval studies.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and contractual skills (familiar with subcontracting and Bimco charter parties).
• Experience with vessel chartering, especially in APAC/Middle East regions.
