Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) seeks a modelling engineer to optimise reduction cell design using thermo-electric, thermo-mechanical, and CFD modelling. You will collaborate with process control, technical consultants and IT, and develop design modifications to enhance performance and reduce energy consumption.

The role requires solid CAE expertise (COMSOL/ANSYS), 3D CAD skills, and strong analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 6 years total experience with 3 years in modelling engineering.
• Proficient in CAE software (COMSOL/ANSYS) and 3D CAD modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead thermo-electric, thermo-mechanical and CFD modelling to optimize cell design.
• Collaborate with Technical Consultants, Process Control and IT on modelling tasks.
• Develop modifications to cell designs and control logics to improve energy efficiency.
