Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) in Dubai seeks a qualified project lead to drive and support initiatives across EPCM/consultants, overseeing budgets and delivering projects from inception to handover in the UAE.

The role emphasizes strong planning, communication, and teamwork, with a focus on achieving KPIs, coordinating with operations and design reviews, and applying value engineering to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree required.
• 5 years experience in execution of projects.
• Demonstrated ability in project management, communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the completion of projects in line with KPIs and objectives.
• Actively participate in monitoring progress against the project schedule and budget.
• Raise project scheduling and budget concerns with first line manager and manage corrective actions.
• Lead the coordination between Operation and the consultants.
• Coordinate with Operations to complete scope aspects of the project and participate in formulating and evaluating solutions.
• Manage small to medium size projects from inception to handover.
• Review and advise on fabrication, shop drawings and material submittals by contractors.
• Participate in design review meetings with EPCM/EPC/consultants and contribute to design optimization and Value Engineering.
• Check readiness of project drawings, operating and maintenance manuals and other final documents at project completion stage.
• Support the project team supervising construction activities to ensure execution aligns with technical specifications.
• Support POV activities to ensure smooth handover to Operations on schedule.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure project quality meets best practice standards.
