Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company seeks a skilled professional to supervise and perform cathodic protection monitoring, upgrading and inspection activities to ensure continuous functioning of all CP equipment. You will review daily work orders, oversee CP project documentation, and coordinate with contractors on installation and commissioning while ensuring compliance with company standards.

The role requires 5 years in CP in Oil & Gas and a relevant Diploma; strong analytical skills and attention

Qualifications

5 years of experience in cathodic protection monitoring, upgrading and inspection in Oil & Gas.
Diploma required in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
Professional certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

Review daily work orders, prioritize and assign tasks to support production needs.
Review CP projects, documents and drawings, provide feedback to capture operational requirements.
Supervise CP inspection and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with standards.
Supervise installation and commissioning of CP systems by contractors to meet specs.
Monitor CP system IR drop and pipe-to-soil potential, flag non-conformances promptly.
Produce trends of potential/current drainage and monitor performance for continuous operations.
