Job summary

DEWAN CONSULTANTS FZ L.L.C. seeks an experienced Carpenter Supervisor for a major industrial project in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi. Urgent hiring for a temporary assignment.

The role demands supervising large carpentry/formwork teams, reading shop drawings, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on an EPC project. The position is based at Ruwais with an assignment duration of 3–6 months. Salary is AED 15,000 per month plus benefits including meals, accommodation and transportation at the Ruwais

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising large carpentry/formwork teams on industrial EPC projects.
• Ability to independently read and interpret structural, civil, and shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction tolerances, alignment and levels on industrial sites.
• Experience in manpower planning, daily work allocation, productivity monitoring and site execution.
• Good knowledge of HSE requirements and Permit-to-Work systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise carpentry/formwork teams on industrial EPC projects.
• Coordinate with steel fixing, rebar, concrete, QA/QC and construction teams.
• Read and interpret structural/civil/shop drawings to guide on-site work.
• Monitor productivity and allocate daily tasks for crews.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, Permit-to-Work, and LOTO procedures.
