Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy seeks a Specialist or Consultant Cardiac Anaesthesiologist for a leading UAE healthcare facility. The role involves complex cardiac anaesthesia, perioperative care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Candidates should hold a UK CCT in Anaesthetics or equivalent, with fellowship/advanced training in cardiac anaesthesia and UAE licensing eligibility. Relocation and visa support available as per policy.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• UK CCT in Anaesthetics with cardiac anaesthesia expertise.
• Fellowship/advanced training in cardiac anaesthesia where applicable.
• Post-qualification experience in cardiac anaesthesia per UAE licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic care for cardiac surgery including CABG and valve procedures.
• Conduct preoperative assessments and develop anaesthetic plans.
• Administer general anaesthesia with advanced haemodynamic monitoring.
• Perform TOE/TEE where trained and credentialed.
• Manage perioperative care for high‑risk cardiothoracic patients.
• Support thoracic aortic surgery and other high‑risk interventions.
• Monitor for haemodynamic instability and bleeding intraoperatively.
• Coordinate with surgeons, cardiologists, perfusionists and ICU teams.
• Oversee postoperative cardiac care with ICU teams.
• Assist with licensing and UAE regulatory processes.
