Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to develop detailed layouts and drawings using AutoCAD, with familiarity in lighting and automation systems. You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure specifications are met and designs comply with standards.

Strong documentation skills and proficiency in MS Office are required. Ideal candidates hold a engineering degree or a design diploma with relevant experience, and have 2–6 years of CAD design expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Diploma in Design or relevant field with industry experience.
• 2-3 years of AutoCAD design experience with an Engineering Degree, or 5-6 years with Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and layouts from consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Develop detailed project layouts, schematic diagrams, and single-line drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare project data tables, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and engineering teams to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors on design matters.
• Ensure compliance with internal design standards and industry best practices.
