Job summary

Bybit is seeking a senior backend engineer to design and develop the core trading system's backend, focusing on high concurrency and low latency. You will maintain, upgrade, and optimize the platform while contributing to technical documentation and future architecture plans.

The role requires a strong C++ foundation, experience with distributed systems, and familiarity with Redis, Kafka and Elasticsearch in a high-traffic environment. A BS in CS or higher is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
• Strong C++ foundation; familiarity with open source libraries such as Folly/Boost.
• Experience with NoSQL caches, message queues and search engines (Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch).
• Experience in large-scale systems design and high-traffic, high-concurrency environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the backend system of the trading core system.
• Maintain, upgrade and optimize the system for high concurrency and low latency.
• Write technical documents and architectures independently.
• Explore cutting-edge technologies and help shape platform architecture direction.
