Responsibilities

• Build a buying plan for assigned material groups based on customer needs and trends.
• Monitor PR to PO process and identify development opportunities.
• Conduct business meetings with vendors and stakeholders.

Job description

1. Build a buying plan for the assigned PRs/material group considering customer need, product trends and historic records.

2. Good Knowledge of Direct Materials Procurement -Raw Material Supplies

3. Monitor PR to PO process and identify development opportunities.

4.To assist executing purchasing process for the materials and services assigned on timely manner using the established procurement procedures and extend expertise to buyers.

5.Handle day to day procurement transactions for assigned PRs/material group.

6. Contact suppliers to obtain quotations.

7. Validate, analyze, and negotiate quotations.

8.Monitor delivery compliance and circulate related reports to concerned stakeholders.

9.Obtain the required approval prior placing commitment to supplier.

10.Place official purchase order via SAP.

11.Maintain material and vendor master records.

12.Support new product development – participate in new project based on purchasing manager guidance.

13. Conduct business meetings with vendors and stakeholders.

14. Develop and prepare business reports.
