Job Review:
To lead and manage Goody’s business development and sales identifying, evaluating and implement business development and key account initiatives designed to contribute to Goody’s growth and increase its revenue.
Key Responsibilities
The employee’s duties are not limited to the responsibilities listed below; additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
Vision, Mission, and Strategy
- Ensure that departmental strategies and strategic plans are effectively implemented in alignment with Goody’s overall vision and mission.
Budget Management
- Recommend and contribute to the development of the departmental budget.
- Monitor financial performance against budget forecasts to identify variances, address areas of underperformance, and seize opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvement.
Sales Operating Plan
- Develop and execute the sales operating plan for KSA.
- Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to ensure delivery of forecasted business results.
Policies, Processes, and Procedures
- Develop and oversee the implementation of departmental policies, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with internal and external standards while delivering quality, cost-effective service.
New Business Development
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of new business opportunities.
- Assess the feasibility of each opportunity from financial, operational, and brand alignment perspectives to support revenue growth and strategic objectives.
Business Modelling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and analyze various business models.
- Evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives on the organization’s financial performance and long-term sustainability.
Relationship Management
- Identify, build, and nurture relationships with market entry channels and distributors.
- Maximize revenue opportunities and explore potential for expanded service offerings through strategic partnerships.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintain effective communication with departments including Marketing, Brand Management, and Operations.
- Ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and other business initiatives.
Leadership and Team Development
- Drive departmental performance by setting clear objectives, recruiting and developing talent, and conducting regular performance reviews.
- Foster a motivating work environment that supports individual and team growth.
Change Management
- Champion and implement positive change initiatives through continuous improvement practices.
- Align departmental processes with international best practices and adapt to evolving business and regulatory environments.
Reporting and Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all departmental reports, aligned with organizational policies and reporting standards.
Safety, Quality, and Environment
- Enforce adherence to safety, quality, and environmental policies to ensure regulatory compliance, workplace safety, and environmental responsibility.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform additional duties and assignments as required to support uninterrupted departmental operations.
Technical Proficiency
- Possess a deep understanding of market dynamics and maintain strong industry connections.
- Demonstrate agility and adaptability in navigating changing business environments and integrating innovations.
Minimum Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent).
Experience
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in sales and sales management within a related industry.
- Proven expertise in channel management and a solid track record in roles with increasing managerial responsibilities.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
- Highly organized with effective time management and task prioritization capabilities.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Technologically adept and computer literate.
Languages
- English – Mandatory (fluency required).
- Arabic – Preferred.
