Senior Business Analyst: Lending & BRD Lead

Job summary

Remote DXB is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive requirements for lending initiatives in UAE. You will lead requirement gathering, workshops, and BRD documentation, ensuring clear objectives, process flows, data needs, and acceptance criteria.

The role covers gap analysis, alignment with design and testing, and delivery across agile, hybrid, and vendor-led projects within banking, term loans, trade finance, and MSME segments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in banking or banking technology.
• 6+ years authoring BRDs for complex processes.
• Deep product expertise in term loans and working capital (MSME, Mid Corporate, Large Corporate).
• Working knowledge of trade finance products and their interaction with limits and operations.
• Experience as a lead or senior business analyst setting documentation standards.
• Experience on at least two lending, loan origination, or credit decisioning initiatives from requirements to Go-Live.
• Experience providing requirements to functional specifications and reviewing test cases.
• Exposure to Temenos T24 or comparable core banking systems.
• Experience in Agile, hybrid, and vendor-led delivery models.
• UAE or wider GCC banking experience is strongly preferred.
• Arabic language ability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering, analysis, and BRD preparation for lending initiatives.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to capture business needs.
• Prepare BRDs covering objectives, processes, business rules, and data requirements.
• Develop clear, testable, and traceable business requirements with defined acceptance criteria.
• Create use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support project delivery.
• Validate requirements with business stakeholders and manage version control and change requests.
• Perform gap analysis of existing processes and recommend improvements.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, solution design, and testing activities.
