Urgent Requirement: Senior Business Analyst (Digital Products) — Banking Domain
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a banking client in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with expertise in digital products within the financial services sector.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in financial services.
- Proven success in delivering business analysis projects and driving process improvements for digital products and services.
- Mandatory certifications: CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred.
- Business process modeling training/certification preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office; skills in Microsoft Visio and Access are a plus.
- Experience with requirements gathering, SDLC, Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum), and tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Role Purpose
To analyze and translate business needs into effective solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and successfully deliver projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute business analysis activities including requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, process analysis, and solution design.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, elicit requirements, and document processes and workflows.
- Conduct gap analyses and propose solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, resolve conflicts, and build consensus.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
- Work with development, architecture, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation and quality validation.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation.
- Assess impacts and recommend system and process enhancements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Mentor junior analysts to promote professional growth.
