Job Description

Nair Systems is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms & conditions.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge, Technical Competencies Required for this role:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in the financial services sector.
2. Proven track record of successfully delivering business analysis projects and driving process improvements for digital products and services.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business scenarios and propose effective solutions.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
5. Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
6. Proficiency in requirements management tools, process modeling tools, and project management software such as Jira and Confluence.
7. Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
9. Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.

Previous experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Business process modeling training certification preferred.
3. Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Visio, and Access (bonus).
4. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Key Accountabilities of the Role & Competencies:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, elicit requirements, and document processes and workflows.
• Conduct gap analyses and propose improvements aligned with business goals.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and build consensus.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation and validate solutions.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation.
• Conduct impact assessments and recommend system and process enhancements.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Mentor junior analysts to promote professional growth.
