At Alien Intellect, we're looking for a senior professional with business analysis and product research experience to help us understand customer needs, assess the market, and identify product opportunities. You'll report to the CCO, work closely with the CTO, and turn research into clear recommendations that inform product decisions.

• Design and conduct customer interviews, independently and alongside the CCO.
• Analyze customer needs, workflows, and pain points, and map user journeys.
• Research the market and competitors to identify product gaps and opportunities.
• Conduct user research to investigate problems and evaluate product assumptions.
• Translate findings into written analysis, clear requirements, and prioritized recommendations.
• Present findings to the CCO and CTO, and work with product and engineering teams on their implications and feasibility.

Requirements

• Software product experience — senior-level Business Analysis, Product Management, Product Discovery, or UX/Product Research, with direct involvement in product decisions.
• Hands-on customer interviewing — personally designing and running interviews, with examples of findings that shaped a problem definition or product decision.
• Practical product discovery — taking ambiguous customer problems or business needs through research and analysis to a recommended course of action.
• Business analysis — examining customer workflows and translating needs into documentation product and engineering teams can use.
• Market and competitor research — competitive analysis that led to a specific product opportunity, identified gap, or recommendation.
• Technical collaboration — working directly with engineers or technical leaders on requirements and constraints. A technical or product background is required; programming experience is not.
• Analytical writing — clear, concise reports that connect evidence to conclusions and recommendations.
• Advanced English — independently conducting interviews, joining technical and product discussions, presenting findings, and writing reports.
• Independent ownership — planning and driving research, following up on missing information, and delivering actionable findings with limited supervision.
• Analytical judgment and curiosity — learning quickly, asking precise questions, finding the core of a problem, and challenging assumptions.
• A genuine interest in our product and the AI space.
• Senior Business Analyst with software product experience and hands-on customer interviewing and user research skills.
• Product Manager with direct experience in discovery, customer research, and market analysis.
• Senior UX / Product Researcher with business and market analysis experience and a track record of working closely with technical teams.
• Product Owner whose experience includes customer research and product opportunity discovery alongside backlog and delivery.
• A previous Product Manager or Product Owner title is not required — relevant experience and demonstrated work are the basis for assessment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with B2B or SaaS products.
• Experience in AI, including an understanding of its applications and limitations.
• Experience working directly with international clients.
• Experience with usability testing and user behavior analysis.
