Job summary

XPower Trading – a part of XO Shipping A/S in Dubai is seeking a Senior Bunker Trader to shape a new specialist role and drive profitable, risk-disciplined trading relationships.

You will manage an existing client portfolio, develop new business with ship owners and operators, and procure bunkers for XO Shipping-operated vessels while collaborating across the shipping group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bunker trading experience in an international bunker house or shipping company.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Strong IT skills and technical aptitude.

As a Senior Bunker Trader at XPower Trading, you will benefit from the fact that XO Shipping has a substantial bunker requirement for the vessels it operates. This provides a unique opportunity to work closely with the shipping business on marine fuel procurement, while gaining valuable insight into customers’ operational needs.

Working from our office in Dubai, your primary goal will be to build a profitable and risk-disciplined customer portfolio.

You will also be responsible for:

• Serving clients from our existing portfolio
• Developing relationships with new clients
• Maintaining and developing relationships with suppliers
• Purchasing bunkers for XO Shipping-operated vessels
• Developing advanced product offerings

Leverage your bunker trading experience and strong communication skills

You are self-driven and analytical, and your commercial mindset enables you to achieve results through a combination of negotiation and creativity. You have excellent presentation and communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Additionally, you bring:

• 5+ years of bunker trading experience from an international bunker trading house or a shipping company
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
• Technical aptitude and strong IT skills
