What You'll Be Doing

At Chalhoub, we celebrate the exceptional! Our Senior Brand Trainer imparts knowledge and awareness of Luxury Homeware & Gifting, utilizing best training practices. The trainer researches and localizes materials on categories and brands, developing training content in collaboration with Group L&D. They support front-line staff with on-the-job learning, monitor performance, and conduct training needs analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training & Development Strategy
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs focusing on client journeys, clienteling, and product expertise.
  • Create engaging training materials, workshops, and e-learning modules aligned with brand heritage and craftsmanship.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and collaborate with Group L&D to develop localized training content.
  • Leverage digital tools to digitalize training content.
  • Deliver the START program, Category Training Day, and Brand Training Days.
  • Participate in Group L&D events and best practice sharing.
  • Client Journey & Clienteling Excellence
  • Train teams on building long-term client relationships through personalized service.
  • Implement client journey roadmaps to create seamless, high-touch experiences.
  • Coach on proactive outreach, VIP engagement, and curated shopping experiences.
  • Product Expertise & Storytelling
  • Develop deep product training modules covering materials, craftsmanship, history, and collections.
  • Monitor product training for delegation brands.
  • Train teams on storytelling to foster emotional connections.
  • Collaborate with merchandising teams on new collections and signature pieces.
  • Sales & Service Excellence
  • Equip teams with consultative selling techniques emphasizing cross-selling and upselling.
  • Implement on-floor training, role-playing, and client simulations.
  • Leadership Development & Coaching
  • Partner with store managers to develop coaching frameworks.
  • Provide real-time feedback, mentoring, and coaching to enhance client interactions.
  • Support leadership in embedding luxury service behaviors and high-performance standards.
  • CRM & Data-Driven Clienteling
  • Train teams on effective CRM usage for accurate data capture and personalized follow-ups.
  • Use client insights to tailor training to market needs.
What You'll Need To Succeed
  • Experience in training, L&D, or retail operations within luxury homeware, fashion, or hospitality.
  • Expertise in luxury clienteling, storytelling, and high-end customer experience.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver impactful training programs.
  • Deep knowledge of luxury service standards and retail excellence.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-centric environment with attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
