What you'll be doing:

The Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for driving brand awareness and growth for our sports retail brands. This includes identifying strategic opportunities, facilitating impactful marketing activations, and enhancing customer engagement to increase foot traffic and conversion rates. The role will focus on executing targeted campaigns and initiatives that elevate the brand experience and drive measurable results for diverse sports brands.

Job Description:

  • Support the function to network, build relationships, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to promote the brand.
  • Research and identify potential activations to act as a brand influencer and represent the sports brands.
  • Work closely with marketing and communications teams to establish and maintain assertive brand outreach on social platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines to create relevant and versatile activation content to engage target audiences, promote our brand, and drive engagement.
  • Maintain records related to marketing expenses and regularly update management on budget expenditure and overall costs.
  • Gather requirements and feedback from malls and ensure prompt communication to relevant internal functions.
  • Act as a main point of contact between Sun & Sand Sports and the brands for related matters, ensuring escalation of issues to management when required.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of sports marketing activities.
  • Create and manage periodic communication summary reports of all activities to keep the team informed of ongoing and completed initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing regular reports and analysis on return on investment (ROI).

People Management:

  • Define performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensure achievement throughout the year.
  • Take ownership of personal learning by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager and establishing an individual development plan that goes beyond just training and development.
  • Stay informed of professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through continued education and professional growth.

Functional/Technical Competencies:

With relevant GCC experience, candidates should be adept at creating and executing campaigns that resonate both globally and locally, tailoring strategies for regional moments while maintaining global brand consistency. They must excel in building strong relationships within the team and with key external stakeholders, including media partners, influencers, and event organizers, to ensure the seamless execution of offline activations, PR, and OOH campaigns that drive meaningful engagement and measurable results.
