Job summary

Azizi Group is seeking a Senior BIM professional to develop and maintain BIM models from approved drawings and specs. You will prepare shop, fabrication and installation drawings, and coordinate with Architectural, Structural, MEP disciplines to prevent clashes.

Responsibilities include reviewing models for constructability, implementing design changes, and ensuring adherence to project standards and LOD. You will guide junior BIM staff and coordinate with production, procurement and site teams

Qualifications

• Experience in BIM modeling and detailing across design to construction.
• Ability to review models and drawings for constructability and coordinate with disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models based on approved drawings and project requirements.
• Prepare accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, production drawings and installation drawings.
• Coordinate BIM models with Architectural, Structural, MEP and other disciplines.
• Review models and drawings to identify clashes, discrepancies and constructability issues.
• Conduct clash detection and coordinate resolutions with engineers, designers, consultants and project teams.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, specifications and required LOD.
• Incorporate design changes and approved revisions into BIM models.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Site QA/QC and project teams to ensure outputs are practical for manufacturing and installation.
• Prepare model-based quantities, schedules, material take-offs and other BIM deliverables.
• Review drawings to ensure accurate modeling and coordination.
• Maintain proper model version control, naming conventions and document management.
• Assist in resolving technical issues related to BIM modeling and construction details.
• Conduct quality checks on BIM models and drawings before submission or release for production.
• Provide guidance and support to junior BIM modelers and detailers.
• Coordinate with external consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders on BIM matters.
• Support development and implementation of BIM standards, workflows and best practices.

• Support the development and implementation of BIM standards workflows and best practices within the team.
• Ensure all BIM deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed project timelines.
