About the Job

We are seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator / Detailing Engineer who will be responsible for preparing high-precision BIM models, fabrication/shop drawings, and erection plans for Cold-Formed Steel (CFS/LGS) and Hot Rolled Steel (HRS) structures. The ideal candidate should have strong coordination, detailing, and modeling experience using platforms such as Revit, AutoCAD, MWF, and BIM 360. This role plays a key part in ensuring quality and efficiency in project execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coordinated shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection plans for LGS and HRS framing
• Model structural components and connections and generate BOQ/BOM and CNC files
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts with MEP and architectural teams
• Provide support to site engineers, fabricators, and factory teams through clear, updated documentation
• Conduct quality checks and implement project-specific checklists
• Deliver induction and quality training to drafting and factory teams
• Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and provide technical solutions
• Contribute to R&D initiatives for improving drafting workflows and detailing accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM modeling or steel detailing, specifically in CFS/LGS/HRS structures
• Strong understanding of international steel detailing standards (U.S. or Euro preferred)
• Demonstrated experience interpreting architectural and engineering drawings
• Hands-on collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, architects, and production teams
• Experience delivering residential and commercial projects (U.S. projects preferred)
