Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Dubai is seeking a Senior BIM CAD Technician - Utility Design to lead modelling, CAD drafting, and digital coordination for wet and dry utility projects on large infrastructure programs. The role requires extensive UAE/MEA experience and a proactive approach to delivering coordinated models and submission-ready drawings.

You will manage model preparation, pipe network development, clash detection and resolution, and QA/QC checks within a Common Data Environment,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering required.
Minimum 10 years of CAD drafting and BIM experience within the UAE/MEA region.
At least 3 years of Utility Pipe Network Modelling experience.
Familiarity with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and RTA standards.

Responsibilities

Produce and update BIM models and CAD documentation for wet and dry utility infrastructure.
Coordinate with BIM/CAD management, Design Leads, and Engineers to meet delivery dates.
Convert engineering concepts into layouts, isometrics, and detailed drawings.
Develop utility pipe network models and integrate with existing services.
Manage modelling activities from setup to final model completion.
Identify clashes and resolve design conflicts with relevant disciplines.
Check drawings for clarity, accuracy, and CAD/BIM compliance.
Carry out QA/QC of models and drawings.
Develop content to meet modelling needs and extract schedules/quantities.
