Job description

This role involves handling bids and tenders, both independently and collaboratively for significant projects. The individual will play a crucial part in ensuring Dulsco succeeds in tender and pre-qualification submissions. The person is required to present complex solutions in a clear, concise, and logical manner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand the workings and roles for compilation of a complex bid/tender opportunity. Handling Major bids of Dulsco Group.
  • Design and apply bid and presentation templates – working predominantly in MS PowerPoint, InDesign to create innovative and visually inspiring professional tenders and panel presentations.
  • Work closely and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited – finance, commercial, technical, and operational – to create compelling and compliant tender/pre-qualification submissions.
  • Devising a successful strategy for winning bids, including pinpointing the key requirements (key differentiators) of the bid pack, understanding the requirements, and conveying those to the team and the clients.
  • Influencing the bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for new opportunities.
  • Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process, creating templates to assess, record and remediate technical, knowledge, resource and client risks.
  • Contributing to the written proposal Ensuring the winning strategy and win themes are articulated effectively throughout the bid response.
  • Drive continuous improvement through post-bid reviews and retrospective lessons learned for continuous service improvement.
  • Work with external partners, when required, to draw together and capture synergy values and create compelling joint bids depending on Dulsco’ s role (prime, sub or partner).
  • Create and develop case studies, including past-performance references. Update the content library for inclusion into future bid submissions. Support in developing and improving exemplary frameworks. Apply quality assurance and quality control checks to all bid submissions, ensuring information is accurate, company branded and compliant, aligned with Dulsco’ s brand and reputation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven ability in delivering projects
  • Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in bids
  • Good written English and technical writing experience
  • Ability to manage risks and complex, multi-workstream opportunities
  • Excellent analytical skills with a critical eye for detail
  • Ability to present data clearly and concisely
  • Highly organised, with an ability to work to strict deadlines
  • MS Office Proficiency- MS Powerpoint/ In Design / MS Power BI (will be an advantage).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the service market (preferably UAE)
