Bid Manager / Pre-Construction Manager 53-57,500 AED Plus Flights & Medical

One of the most dynamic & established Buildings Main Contractors in Dubai, with over 50 years of success and 550+ projects delivered, including 5-star hotels and high-rise towers.

As the Bid Manager handling Pre-Construction, you will manage technical bid submissions for large-scale, complex construction projects across the UAE.

Based in the Dubai Head Office within the Bid Management team, you will report to the General Manager and collaborate with Estimation, QHSE, Technical, Planning Controls & MEP teams.

You should be capable of client-facing interactions, driving strategy and coordination, including delivery methods, programs, sub-contractor selection, and procurement strategies, ensuring alignment across all parties.

The company adopts a quality-over-quantity approach to tenders and pre-construction, focusing only on projects they wish to win. You will have the opportunity to negotiate percentages at single-source and enter PSA agreements to benefit all parties.

The group offers extensive in-house capabilities, including Modular, MEP, Scaffolding & Temporary Works, Joinery & Interiors, Piling & Geotechnical Stabilization, Civil & Marine, and Facilities Management, enabling cradle-to-grave solutions and a strong track record of joint ventures.

Ideal candidates will have client-facing skills, confidence, and a keen eye for detail at bidding and tender stages.

Sectors include Hotels, Commercial & Hospitality, Residential (Low & High Rise), Data Centers & Technology Facilities, Healthcare & Medical.

Requirements:

1. At least 5 years UAE experience handling complex Design & Build tenders.
2. Experience with projects ranging from AED 300 million to AED 2.4 billion, with some projects exceeding USD 1 billion.
3. Experience working for a Tier 1 or 2 Main Contractor.
4. Strong network within the UAE client base and supply chain.
5. Technical & engineering expertise, with exposure to Lump Sum Design & Build projects.
6. Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
7. Proficiency with IT and construction software; hands-on approach required.
8. Excellent communication skills demonstrated throughout the interview process.
9. Preferably 12+ years post-graduate experience.
10. Ability to analyze programs for time and profit optimization.
11. Technical ability to review drawings and programs in detail.

This is a traditional role based in Dubai, working a 5-day week from 7:30-8:00 am to 5:30-6:00 pm, with potential long days for bid preparations and travel for client meetings and site visits.
