Job summary

Edari in Dubai is seeking a Senior BI Consultant to design, develop, and deliver enterprise BI, analytics, data warehousing, and reporting solutions for a client in the region. This contract role runs for 12 months and is renewable based on performance.

You will lead the BI lifecycle from requirements gathering through data modelling, semantic layer development, dashboards, and executive reporting, with deep experience in Power BI, Azure data tools, ETL/ELT, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years delivering Enterprise BI, Analytics and Data Warehousing solutions.
• Strong experience with Power BI Desktop/Service, DAX, and Azure data stack.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
• Define KPIs, business metrics, dimensions, and business rules.
• Translate requirements into scalable BI and analytics solutions.
• Design and develop executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and self-service BI.
• Maintain enterprise semantic models, tabular models, and reusable datasets.
• Develop STAR schemas, fact/dimension tables, and data warehouse designs.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration across ERP/CRM/Finance systems.
