Job summary

OneBullEx is seeking aSenior Batch Data Engineer to own end-to-end enterprise batch data warehouse on Alibaba Cloud. You will design, maintain, and optimise batch pipelines supporting dashboards, analytics, and AI/ML services, leveraging AI-assisted engineering to rapidly build data layers and enforce data quality.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in English and Chinese, ensuring high performance, scalable architectures, and cost-efficient cloud usage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud data services.
• Strong SQL and Python for data engineering and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to model multi-layer enterprise data structures (ODS, DWD, DWS, ADS).
• Fluent in English and Chinese for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ownership mindset with proactive communication and delivery speed.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT batch pipelines on Alibaba Cloud DataWorks and MaxCompute.
• Develop enterprise data warehouse layers (ODS, DWD, DWS, ADS) using SQL/Python and AI tools.
• Ensure data reliability, strong query performance, and cost-efficient resource usage.
• Integrate AI tools into daily workflow to accelerate coding and data validation.
• Provide end-to-end ownership of batch pipelines and collaborate with English/Chinese teams.
