Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on with Alibaba Cloud data services: DataWorks, MaxCompute, DTS, Hologres, FC Functions.
• Advanced SQL and Python for data engineering, performance tuning, and db optimisation.
• Experience modelling multi-layer enterprise data structures (ODS, DWD, DWS, ADS) and batch lakehouse architectures.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, spoken and written, for cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong ownership, high velocity, proactive communication, and iterative delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT batch pipelines on Alibaba Cloud.
• Develop enterprise data warehouse layers (ODS, DWD, DWS, ADS) with modular SQL/Python scripts.
• Ensure data quality, automated validation, and monitoring across pipelines.
• Take end-to-end ownership of daily T-1 batch stability, backfills, and issue cleanup.
• Collaborate with English/Chinese speaking teams across product and development.
