Job summary

Property Finder is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own backend services powering our high-traffic surfaces across markets and languages. You will design, implement, test and deploy services in TypeScript (Node.js) and Go, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability in a fast-moving environment.

You'll work on edge-cased caching, CDN interactions, and multi-region content delivery while collaborating with product, SEO, data, and web/mobile engineers to turn requirements into robust

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend engineering on high-traffic, consumer-facing systems.
• Strong TypeScript (Node.js) expertise.
• Go experience or ability to pick it up quickly.
• Design/operate distributed services: APIs, boundaries, versioning.
• Relational DBs (MySQL/PostgreSQL), Redis, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• AWS production experience with containerised workloads and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services powering high-traffic surfaces.
• Own end-to-end delivery: design, tests, deployment, and observability.
• Build new features in TypeScript and maintain Go services.
• Optimize caching, CDN behavior, and content rendering for cost/performance.
• Support multi-country/multi-language content from day one.
• Collaborate with product, SEO, data, and web/mobile engineers.
• Drive reliability: monitoring, incident response, and cost efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and uphold backend standards.
