Job summary

Dizzaract Games is seeking a Senior Backend + DevOps Engineer to design robust backend services, own infrastructure lifecycles, and secure live gaming platforms. You will work across distributed systems, real‑time data, and high‑load environments, collaborating with frontend, game, and product teams.

The role emphasizes TypeScript/Node.js expertise, Kubernetes orchestration, and CI/CD automation, with a hands‑on approach to architecture and deployment in a modern tech stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with senior level exposure.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and the Node.js ecosystem (NestJS, Express, or Fastify).
• Mandatory DevOps experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB).
• Understanding of distributed systems and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• RESTful API design experience; GraphQL is a plus.
• English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Contribute to system architecture for high availability and performance.
• Own infrastructure lifecycle from CI/CD pipelines to cloud orchestration.
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK).
• Ensure observability with logging, monitoring, and reliability features.
• Collaborate across frontend, game, and DevOps teams to deliver cohesive systems.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
