Your qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js
• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS or other Node.js frameworks (Express, Koa)
• Solid understanding of Typescript and modern JavaScript ES6+ features
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation
• Experience working with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases
• Knowledge of software design patterns, clean architecture, and best practices for backend development
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and deploying backend services in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)

Your tasks

• Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs using NestJS and Node.js
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and performant backend architectures
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
• Work with databases (PostgreSQL) to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers where needed
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Monitor backend performance and scalability, proactively addressing bottlenecks
• Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies, tools, and best practices
