Senior Backend Developer

Location: Remote | Full-time

You will:

• Architect and maintain backend APIs using GraphQL, REST, and WebSockets
• Design and implement robust data storage systems using relational, NoSQL (especially MongoDB), and columnar databases
• Enhance system performance using caching mechanisms and in-memory stores like Redis
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, and frontend teams to take features from planning to production
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies, tools, and backend development best practices

Desired Candidate Profile:

We’re looking for someone experienced, independent, and passionate about backend systems.

You should have:

• 6+ years of hands-on backend development, primarily in Node.js
• Proficiency in software design patterns including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), functional programming, and object-oriented principles
• Experience working within monorepo and microservice architectures
• Deep knowledge of MongoDB and familiarity with columnar databases
• Practical experience using Redis for caching and session handling
• Familiarity with GraphQL and REST API design
• Strong communication skills with English proficiency at B2–C1 level
