Job Description : As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems. Your primary focus will be on building scalable, real-time, and fault-tolerant microservices, integrating cutting-edge technologies like TypeScript with Node.js, and ensuring security and compliance in all our solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement microservices architecture with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
• Develop real-time solutions using WebSockets (e.g., Socket.IO ) to support our trading platform.
• Work with event-driven architectures utilizing message queues and event buses (e.g., RabbitMQ, AWS EventBridge).
• Implement secure data handling practices, including encryption and access control, ensuring adherence to financial compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
• Integrate KYC solutions seamlessly into the platform.
• Manage relational and document-based databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design APIs and distributed systems.
• Contribute to containerization and orchestration workflows (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and resilience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS).

Preferred Skills & Qualifications :

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in a start-up or financial services environment.
• Expertise in Node.js with TypeScript, building and scaling APIs, and distributed systems.
• Solid experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes or AWS ECS / EKS).
• Proficient in working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and document databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience with message queues and event buses (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Google Pub / Sub).
• Knowledge of security best practices and financial compliance standards.
• Exposure to real-time systems and WebSocket technologies like http : / / Socket.io .
• Familiarity with KYC integrations.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with Golang.
• Proficiency in NestJS framework.
• Familiarity with gRPC for communication.
• Familiarity with stock market domain.
