Job summary
Atlantis, The Palm, a Kerzner International luxury resort on Palm Jumeirah, seeks an experienced Assistant Manager - Automation. The role focuses on maintaining and improving automation systems for water rides, ALSS, and facility infrastructure, with ownership of control system integrity and documentation.
The candidate will lead troubleshooting, software development, commissioning support, and collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Electrical, and MEP teams, leveraging
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Automation engineering or related discipline.
- 10–12 years hands-on experience in industrial automation and control systems.
- Experience with PLC programming, commissioning, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safe, reliable operation of automation and control systems for water rides, attractions, and ALSS.
- Troubleshoot faults in PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, and networks.
- Develop, test, and maintain PLC/HMI software and perform commissioning support.
- Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers and system integrators for troubleshooting and upgrades.
- Maintain technical records, RCA documentation, and preventive maintenance plans.
