EGA in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior Auditor to assist the Principal Auditor in delivering internal audit services for a defined assignment. Under the guidance of the Manager IA, you will ensure compliance with professional standards and address non-compliance to mitigate risk.

You will participate in risk assessments, map processes, test controls, identify improvements, and prepare working papers. Strong communication, analytical skills, and knowledge of IIA standards are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Engineering and working towards a recognised international accounting qualification (e.g., CPA/CIMA/CMA/CA)
• Audit qualification such as CIA or CISA is advantageous
• 3–6 years internal audit/relevant process experience in a large manufacturing company or Big4

Responsabilidades

• Implements approved departmental policies and audits according to IIA standards.
• Participates in risk assessments and audit planning for assigned areas.
• Performs audit activities including risk analysis, process mapping, testing of internal controls and identifying improvements.
• Prepares work papers and audit files per audit methodology.
• Assists in developing recommendations and follow-ups on remediation.
• Supports management requests and any fraud investigations as directed.
• Ensures safety, quality and environmental policies are followed.
• Interacts with line management to maintain effective working relationships.
