Job description

JOB PURPOSE

• To support management in the preparation of recommended bidder lists for all Aldar Properties projects, including maintaining records of newly added contractors and consultants, and coordinating with the supplier management team regarding new registration requests.

•To manage and provide assistance in the preparation and administration of tender packages related to Prime Cost and Provisional Sums..

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

vBidder List Management and assistance of onboarding of New Contractors/Consultants:

•Coordinate the end-to-end process of adding new contractors and consultants across all Aldar Properties projects, including gathering documentation, arranging site visits, and preparing assessment reports for management approval.

•Assist in preparing list of recommended bidder for all packages across Aldar properties, coordinate with the tendering team status updates are tracked.

•Maintain an up-to-date log of ongoing and completed bidder list activities for transparency and reporting.

•Liaise with the supplier management team to ensure timely registration and activation of newly added vendors.

•Assist management to apply effective vendor management practices supported by a strong network and understanding of the UAE contractor and consultant market.

vProcurement Process Management:

•Initiate and support the procurement process by compiling and developing comprehensive tender documents for Prime Cost and Provisional Sum packages.

•Coordinate with the team to manage the full tender cycle, including issuance, addendums, and post-tender clarifications through the Aldar Tendering Portal.

•Evaluate received tenders and assist management with detailed comparisons and follow-up investigations as required.

•Support management in organizing and conducting meetings with vendors for tender clarifications and negotiations.

•Oversee internal approval workflows and ensure a smooth and timely handover of all tender-related documents to relevant project stakeholders.

•Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and project timelines

RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Min of 3+ years of experience in Procurement/Tendering /Quantity surveying.

FIELD OF EXPERIENCE

Relevant experience with large-scale real estate developers/Consultant/Contractors in UAE

TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

•Strong proficiency in vendor onboarding and management processes, with a wide network in the UAE market.

•Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with working knowledge of Power BI for data tracking and reporting.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to prepare reports and coordinate across teams.

•Solid understanding of contract procurement workflows, policies, and documentation requirements within the real estate and construction sectors.

•Familiarity with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba and Oracle (desirable).

•Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.

•Strong estimation and negotiation capabilities (building and Infrastructure project.

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor degree in - Civil engineering (or Quantity surveying).
