Job description

Job Purpose
  • Provide support in managing the asset management investment process, underwriting of new potential acquisitions, and closing of potential acquisitions in conjunction with the senior manager.
  • Support in managing relationships with existing Aldar JVs/Subsidiaries and periodically monitoring their financial performance.

Roles And Responsibilities
Acquisitions
  • Assist in developing asset management investment proposals across all transaction stages, from sourcing to execution.
  • Identify, research, and analyze potential acquisition recommendations from internal and external sources; understand financial performance, contractual commitments, operations, and facilities.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify and capitalize on market opportunities in the UAE.
  • Assist in all acquisition phases, including structuring definitive agreements and drafting processes.
  • Support the due diligence process; coordinate efforts with legal and commercial divisions and external advisers.
  • Engage with acquisition representatives to ensure comprehensive understanding of the business.
  • Support building financial and valuation models; assist in budgeting, forecasting, assessing financial results, and valuing intangible assets and purchase price allocations.
  • Prepare presentation materials, memoranda, and financial and impact assessment reports for the line manager.
  • Coordinate with agents, owners, brokers, valuers, structural engineers, lawyers, and banks during the acquisition process.
  • Maintain records and documents related to asset acquisitions.
JV/Subsidiary Management
  • In coordination with the senior manager, define financial and strategic metrics to position JVs/Subsidiaries and ensure alignment with operating plans.
  • Assist in establishing regular financial reporting frameworks, including improving reporting packs and internal reports.
  • Develop five-year business plans, risk registers, performance frameworks, and annual budgets for JVs and Subsidiaries.
  • Track and monitor business performance; provide periodic reports to the line manager.
Related Experience
  • Minimum of 4+ years in real estate, private equity, investment banking, buy-side or sell-side advisory, or related fields.
Technical and Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in conducting valuations and financial modeling.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate, and support rapid decision-making.
  • Capability to interpret and manage transaction documents such as NDAs, MoUs, LoIs, and SPAs.
  • Ability to develop board-level papers and investment memoranda.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
