Job description

Objective: Follow up and audit all payments made to Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and work to match all amounts received for tax and royalty payments.

Essential Duties

•Implementing the department's strategy and ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and the overall objectives of Department of Finance.

•Implementing the department's policies and procedures to cover all areas of work, to achieve compliance with internal controls and to provide high-quality and cost-effective services.

•Following up and auditing all tax and royalty payments by auditing all capital and operating costs of shareholders.

•Coordinating with operating companies to implement all financial policies and accounting treatments related to concession and partnership agreements.

•Coordinating and following up with the auditor/tax advisor of the Supreme Council to review, audit and approve all capital and operating costs and expenses of operating companies and contributing partners.

•Reconciling all amounts received for tax and royalty payments and other payments made by contributing partners on a regular basis.

•Collecting the revenues of petroleum ports in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and depositing them in the account of the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi on a monthly basis.

•Preparing data, financial statements, final accounts and reports for the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, which are audited by the external auditor of the Supreme Petroleum Council.

•Follow up on previous operations and files of the Supreme Petroleum Council and implement them.

•Provide the necessary support to the line manager and perform any other related tasks assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or its equivalent in a similar specialization that is compatible with the job duties.

Experience

Preferable to have 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar field/position.
