A leading event sales organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Associate – Event Sales to drive venue sales and manage event bookings. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in event sales, particularly in UAE, and will engage with agencies to secure bookings. This role involves building a strong sales pipeline, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth event executions. Senior Associate – Event Sales will support MODON’s commercial growth by driving venue sales and event bookings across its Leisure, Entertainment, and Sports assets. The role is focused on positioning MODON as the destination of choice for all kinds of events, especially weddings, live entertainment, corporate events, and MICE activations.
The Senior Associate will proactively engage with event agencies, live entertainment agencies, wedding organizers, and MICE operators to secure venue bookings and deliver tailored event solutions. The role demands expertise in selling event venues across diverse formats, from social celebrations and corporate gatherings to large-scale entertainment shows.
The Senior Associate will build and manage a strong event sales pipeline through prospecting, client meetings, presentations, and relationship management. Responsibilities span the full sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal support to closing contracts and coordinating onboarding, ensuring that all activities contribute to meeting defined event sales KPIs.
In addition to direct sales, the Senior Associate will prepare sales reports, monitoring performance, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of event agreements and activations.
The role requires strong commercial acumen, persuasive communication skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to convert leads into confirmed venue bookings.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications or specialized training in Event Sales or B2B Sales are a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Event sales, sponsorships, and commercial development, with at least 4 years in leading and managing events sales ecosystems across UAE.
