Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee electrical engineering activities for metro and rail infrastructure projects.
• Review and approve electrical designs related to traction power, substations, power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low-voltage systems.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and local authority requirements for rail and metro systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, systems, signaling, and mechanical engineers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and design teams.
• Support project planning, technical reviews, value engineering, and risk assessments.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities during design development and delivery stages.
• Ensure safety, quality, and constructability considerations are embedded in all electrical designs.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities for metro electrical systems.
