Qualifications

• Minimum of 13 years' experience in electrical engineering or related field.
• Graduate Engineer in Electrical Engineering with professional licensure preferred.
• Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.
• Proven track record as a Project Engineer on multiple projects, particularly in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design and coordinate project delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide technical leadership across electrical systems and ensure adherence to standards, codes and project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and authorities to drive project success.
• Support fee negotiations, proposals, interviews and presentations, and help win new business.

9E Global is looking for an experienced Senior Associate – Electrical to join our growing team in the UAE.

The role will be responsible for leading and coordinating electrical engineering design, supporting project delivery, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop efficient, reliable, and sustainable building solutions.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across electrical systems, coordinate with clients and project stakeholders, and support the team in delivering high-quality projects in line with applicable standards, codes, and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 13 years' experience in the relevant field.
• Qualified as Graduate Engineer in Electrical Engineering.
• Chartered Engineering will be an added advantage.
• Have a proven record as a Project Engineer on a number of projects.
• Experience in Middle East projects will be highly preferred.

Business Development

• Support in winning business and developing new clients, while strengthening relationships with existing clients.
• Be an ambassador for the Company.
• Ability to build strong relationships with Clients, Architects, and key stakeholders.
• Actively contribute to project interviews, proposals, and presentations.

Project Role

• Responsible for managing a portfolio of projects as Project Manager, reporting to an Associate Director or Director. On complex projects, may act as the primary client contact under senior supervision.
• Be able to lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver client solutions.
• Be commercially aware and proactive in managing project performance.
• Be experienced and competent in: Presenting to clients, Preparing and contributing to project proposals, Supporting fee negotiations and identifying opportunities for additional services, Planning and managing project resources, Constructing project teams (internal and external), Managing project timelines and deliverables
• Liaising with clients, design teams, contractors, and authorities.
• Ensuring QA policies, HSE and regulatory requirements are met.

QHSE Responsibilities

• Understand, implement and follow 9E QHSE policies.
• Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures in your workplace.
• Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
• Report any QHSE incidents immediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
• Abide Client/Contractor QHSE requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
