Job summary

Mondo Arc in Dubai invites applications for Senior Associate and Associate to join our studio in Dubai. You will lead a team of designers and manage a range of lighting design projects from inception to completion, attending design and site meetings in the UAE and overseas.

We require 10–15 years of independent lighting design experience, with strong creative, technical, commercial and communication skills, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Experience with exterior and interior lighting design and significant design input.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Job description

We currently have the following opportunities within our Dubai studio:

Senior Associate and Associate - Dubai, UAE

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate and Associate to join our studio in Dubai. Responsibilities would include working within a team environment on all aspects of the lighting design process, from inception to completion, attending design and site meetings in the UAE and overseas. You will be expected to lead a team of designers and head up a variety of projects.

Applicants should have a minimum of ten to fifteen years' experience in independent professional lighting design. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent creative, technical, commercial, project management and communication skills.

Only applicants with professional independent lighting design experience will be considered. Applicants will be expected to show examples of their completed exterior and interior work where their management skills, leadership and design input has been extremely significant. As well as creative and technical skills, you will need excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop and DIALux. Knowledge of BIM/Revit would be beneficial but not essential.

Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
