Job summary

AW Connect in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Manager Armament Workshop to provide leadership and supervise maintenance, inspection, servicing, rebuilds and repairs of turret systems, weapons and small arms. The role requires enforcing OEM specifications and adhering to KPIs.

You will ensure alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, oversee safety and quality directives, and manage SAP PM tasks while leading a fast-paced maintenance environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Masters preferred.
• Experience: 6+ years in supervising maintenance of tracked/wheeled turret systems.
• Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership, decisionmaking, English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate leadership guidance and supervision to Armament Workshop employees.
• Plan and oversee all maintenance activities for tracked and wheeled turret systems, weapons and small arms.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with technical manuals, KPIs and OEM specs.
• Develop and enforce maintenance and quality directives per ISO 9001 standards.
• Supervise final inspections to ensure high-quality vehicle maintenance.
• Prioritize Preventive Maintenance (PM) according to SAP PM orders.
• Review and manage maintenance tasks and work orders in SAP.
• Oversee spare parts research and ensure proper parts requisitioning.
• Monitor storage and disposal of hazardous materials per regulations.
• Ensure documentation is completed and residual parts returned to storage.
• Track daily and weekly maintenance reports in SAP.
• Ensure tools and test equipment are maintained and safeguarded.
• Conduct performance reviews and training assessments for staff.
