Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Architectural Engineering professional to oversee large-scale architectural works in the Middle East. You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with design engineers, and ensure compliance with contract documents and safety standards on-site.

The role requires extensive leadership in supervision, a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, and membership in recognized institutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20years demonstrable experience in the all aspects of supervision and project administration of the Architectural works related to large-scale projects within Middle East in the consulting industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support to discipline engineers (Mechanical Electrical Architectural Structural) to ensure smooth project execution and technical excellence.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes standards and project contract documents.
• Interpret and clarify technical aspects of contract documents to support accurate implementation on-site.
• Assist the Technical Associate Director in identifying evaluating and resolving technical issues to maintain project schedules.
• Report and highlight non-conformities related to construction and engineering activities on-site.
• Coordinate with the Design Engineer to implement necessary design modifications during construction.
• Maintain and continuously develop high technical standards across all assigned projects.
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships supporting the successful delivery of services and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Respond promptly and effectively to client queries providing clear and informed technical guidance.
• Monitor the performance of Design Consultants ensuring timely review and approval of shop drawings RFIs and other technical submittals.
• Oversee health and safety compliance during construction activities and report any violations in accordance with safety protocols.
