An established industry player is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to drive innovative design processes and lead smaller landscape projects. This role demands a strong understanding of market needs and the ability to manage resources effectively. A Senior Landscape Architect is expected to contribute to practice strategy, develop innovative design processes, standards, and methodologies for project delivery.
In addition, the candidate should have an understanding of complex customer and market needs, contribute to project outcomes, and coordinate teams to effectively manage delivery and resources as agreed with the Director and clients.
The role involves managing and leading smaller, less complex landscape design projects independently with minimal oversight, understanding team roles, and preparing deployment based on the provided fee for review with the senior team.
The Senior Landscape Architect will lead client meetings, take ownership of deliverables, and demonstrate ability to read and apply graphic standards, governance, sustainability, construction standards, and regulatory guidelines applicable to different regions.
Key responsibilities include delivering technical landscape packages, understanding authorities' requirements, coordinating with disciplines, managing plant and irrigation standards, providing updates, gaining site experience, supporting bid preparations, developing innovative design solutions, and enhancing graphic standards.
Qualifications include a minimum of 12 years of experience in Landscape Architecture. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture, a Master's degree, professional memberships (e.g., ASLA, CSLA, AILA, SILA, IFLA), and proficiency in parametric modeling, BIM, and project management tools.
