Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

  1. Providing leadership and subject matter expertise to the project to achieve time, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
  2. Monitoring and reporting on the production of information related to discipline-specific services submittal progress.
  3. Reviewing submitted shop drawings and material submittals against drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practices.
  4. Checking and ensuring coordination between discipline-related services works and all other disciplines.
  5. Providing technical input and experience to resolve discipline-related engineering issues on the project.
  6. Maintaining open communication with the client and contractor's discipline engineers on project-related issues.
  7. Coordinating the works to ensure successful project hand-over.
  8. Attending technical and progress meetings with the contractor/client's representatives.
  9. Identifying issues and risks that need to be brought to the attention of senior project management as necessary.
Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, your career journey to date should include at least 15 years of experience, paired with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.

Chartered status with RIBA or AIA is essential.
