Job summary

China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC ME) in Dubai is recruiting a Senior Architect to join our technical team for a newly awarded high-rise tower project. The role requires leading design reviews, managing draughtsmen, and coordinating with MEP and subcontractors to ensure on-site alignment.

The successful candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Architecture with 10+ years of experience in high-rise towers, and a proven track record in delivering complex architectural

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in High Rise Towers projects.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing designs, drawings, specifications, BOQ & modifications required to suit prevailing site conditions.
• Reviewing packages & coordinating with subcontractors for technical queries & highlighting discrepancies pre & post tendering.
• Managing a team of structural & architectural draughtsmen for preparation of shop drawings.
• Coordinating with MEP requirements.
• Receiving material indents from site, analyzing the requirement & submission for approval.
• Evaluating & determining appropriate construction delivery systems & most cost-effective plans for project completion.
• Overseeing the selection of contractors & consultants to complete specific pieces of the project.
• Reviewing & preparing Method of Statements and submitting to consultant.
• Attending weekly progress meetings with Client and Consultant to resolve critical issues.
• Liaising with Sub Contractors, contractors, consultants & suppliers and coordinating for all technical requirements & obtaining clearances.
