Job summary

Caliberly in Dubai is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the full architectural design process from concept through construction documentation and handover. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure design intent aligns with budgets, and drive value engineering in a fast-moving real estate market.

You will mentor architects and draftsmen, supervise authority submissions, and maintain high standards of quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Architecture; registration preferred.
• 8–12 years in architectural design and project delivery in UAE/GCC.
• Portfolio of high-value residential, commercial, mixed-use or hospitality developments.
• Strong AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, 3D modelling and detailing.
• Experience with UAE/GCC regulatory codes and authority submissions.
• Excellent communication and leadership; stakeholder management.
• Fluent English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented with design-for-construction focus.
• Collaborative leader with cross-discipline coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead full architectural design process from concept to as-built drawings.
• Establish architectural standards, guidelines and QC procedures.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary work (structural, MEP, landscape, interior).
• Oversee authority approvals, UAE/GCC codes, permitting and submissions.
• Conduct site visits, monitor construction quality, resolve design queries.
• Mentor and manage design team, coach and develop staff.
• Provide design leadership during procurement/tender, review drawings and VE proposals.
• Prepare progress reports and design updates for senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement using BIM/Revit and new technologies.
