WSP Middle East is seeking a dynamic Senior Architect (Technical) to join our Technical Architecture Team in the UAE. The role focuses on leading technical design, multidisciplinary coordination, and construction documentation across diverse projects in the Middle East.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows, and proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 8+ years of professional architectural experience focusing on technical design.
• Experience in leading technical design and project delivery.
• Experience in Middle East projects desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and delivery of architectural projects from concept through construction.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate detailed design packages, technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, international codes, and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including Structural, MEP, Landscape, Interior Design, and Specialist Consultants.
• Support BIM implementation and technical design coordination across projects.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, RFIs, and construction-stage technical queries.
• Drive technical excellence, quality assurance, and design consistency across project deliverables.
• Mentor and support junior architects and technical team members.

WSP Middle East are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Architect (Technical) to join our growing Technical Architecture Team within the Property & Buildings (P&B) Business Unit, based in the UAE.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically driven Architect with 8+ years of experience to contribute to the delivery of complex, high-profile developments across the Middle East. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading technical design, multidisciplinary coordination, construction documentation, and design compliance throughout all stages of project delivery.

As part of a collaborative and internationally recognised design team, you will help shape innovative and sustainable solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, residential, healthcare, education, aviation, and public sector developments.
