Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Senior Architect to lead architecture standards and end-to-end design for web, mobile, and microservices. You will drive cloud-native implementations with Kubernetes/OpenShift, virtualization, and security integration across product teams and business units.

The role requires strong experience in security-focused architecture, collaboration with security teams, and designing network and data protection architectures across LAN/WAN/Data Center/Cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing applications (web & mobile), microservices & APIs.
• 5+ years with cloud-native technologies (containers, service mesh, Kubernetes/OpenShift, virtualization).
• 3+ years in Cyber/Information Security.
• Ability to design secure, scalable architectures and collaborate with security teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Design and implement end-to-end solutions for requirements from product owners and business stakeholders.
• Develop and design requirements for web apps, mobile apps, microservices and ecosystem in consultation with internal teams.
• Utilize best practices for app design, user interface, and overall architecture.
• Ensure designs follow internal customer development best practices and user journeys.
• Develop security policies for network devices and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS.
• Collaborate with Information security to protect data assets.
• Develop high-level and detailed designs for network and security architectures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD WAN, Data Center, Cloud Networking).
• Design secure network architectures with segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, ZTNA, NAC.

Domain Competencies: -

1.Develop and maintain architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices

2. Design and implement end-to-end solutions for requirements from product owners and business stakeholders

3. Developing and designing requirements for web apps, mobile apps, microservices and its associated ecosystem in consultation with involved internal departments and subsidiaries.

4. Utilize best practices for app design, user interface, and overall architecture.

5. Ensuring that all designs are created according to internal customer development best practices and based on user journeys, wireframes & architectural patterns used by Customer.

6. Develop security policies for network devices and ensure compliance with frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, etc.)

7. 5+ years of experience designing applications (web & mobile), microservices & APIs.

8. 5+ years of experience working with cloud native technologies such as containers, service mesh, Kubernetes/OpenShift and virtualization

9. 3+ years of work experience in Cyber/Information Security.

10. Collaborate with the Information security team to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of bank data assets

11. Develop high-level and detailed designs for network and security architectures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD WAN, Data Center, and Cloud Networking)

12. Design secure network architectures with segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, ZTNA, and network access control solutions

Technical Competencies: -

1.Strong all-round knowledge of software engineering, architecture & cyber security

2. Experience with building end-end design patterns & solutions by ensuring a balance of user experience, performance, resiliency, reliability & security

3. Experience integrating an application with surrounding eco-systems & technologies including but not limited to mobile apps, micro-services, containers/ cloud-native technologies, event streams, APIs, message-brokers and the like

4. Deep understanding of architectural patterns like micro-services, APIs & app development (mobile and application)

5. Deep understanding of security concepts like Authentication, Authorization, Encryption, Logging/Monitoring, Application Security (OWASP Top10), Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security & Regulations

6. Good experience of enterprise architecture tools (Enterprise Architect), data modeling tools.

7. Experience working with cloud platforms such as OpenShift, Azure, AWS & OCI

8. Strong understanding of network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, WAF, Proxy and ZTNA.

9. Proficiency in load balancing, traffic engineering, and application delivery technologies.
