Senior Architect Vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE

Position: Senior Landscape Architect (Construction Supervision)

Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/None

Job Summary: Senior Landscape Architect (Construction Supervision) - Abu Dhabi.

Duties:

1. Direct the site supervision pertaining to landscape design, irrigation, and associated works.
2. Evaluate all shop drawings, design propositions, technique statements, and any requests for information related to landscape design and irrigation.
3. Coordinate with Parsons' design team for resolution of related concerns.
4. Direct, assist, and monitor the performance of the construction team overseeing the landscaping, irrigation, and associated projects.
5. Coordinate with client/PMC, the Contractor, and relevant authorities.
6. Manage, review, monitor, and report on the progress of landscaping, irrigation, and related projects.
7. Liaise with all parties for site security.
8. Assemble and chair regular site meetings regarding landscaping projects and related activities.
9. Issue additional drawings as required in coordination with the design office.
10. Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
11. Adhere to safety, health, and risk management requirements.
12. Provide all necessary on-site instructions and issue site guidelines for landscape, irrigation, and other related activities.
13. Ensure accuracy and efficiency of 'as-built' drawings in the area of expertise.
14. Participate in contract management.

Education & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering.
2. Minimum 15 years of experience in design and construction supervision of landscape projects, ideally in the UAE.
3. Experience in large scale projects is required.
4. Proven capability to perform in a management capacity.
5. Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
