Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Welder in the structural steel industry.
• Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, TIG and Stick.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions accurately.
• Familiarity with different types of steel materials and their properties.
• Physically able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English; other languages are a plus.
• Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates without experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications to determine the layout of structural steel components.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on metal materials using various tools such as rulers, squares or templates.
• Cut, shape and bend metal pieces using hand tools or machines.
• Weld components together using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) according to project specifications.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control.
• Operate machinery such as grinders or shears to smooth out rough edges or excess material from welded parts.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear while working with hazardous equipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
