Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions for strategic customers. You will own architecture decisions, drive production handoffs, and mentor a team of engineers.

You will work with tools like LangChain and LlamaIndex, contribute to product evolution, and ensure high engineering standards while maintaining customer outcomes in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Expertise in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production and using LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Data modeling/analytics proficiency with platforms like Snowflake/Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for Salesforce's strategic customers.
• Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform, including tool calls and multi-agent orchestration.
• Own data lifecycle: model design, processing pipelines, and data readiness for AI apps.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair sessions.
• Provide technical depth on at-risk or critical deployments when leadership input is needed.
• Surface field insights to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
